Silicone Flexible Heaters
The most versatile flexible heater in the Elmat range — custom shapes, high flexibility and excellent performance on complex industrial surfaces.
Why choose this technology
A silicone flexible heater is a thin, rubber-encapsulated heating element made of an etched-foil or wire-wound resistive circuit vulcanised between two layers of silicone rubber. It bends around complex surfaces, tolerates continuous service up to 230°C and is fully customisable in shape, wattage and mounting.
High Operating Range
Continuous service up to 230°C with peaks to 250°C for demanding thermal cycles.
Thin & Flexible
Only 820 µm thick with a bending radius of ~10 mm — conforms to complex geometries.
CE + UL Certified
Tested to EN 60335 and RoHS compliant, with UL certification for the North American market.
Fully Customizable
Custom shape, power density, temperature zones, adhesives and cable outlets on request.
At a glance
Certified CE + UL. Customizable as needed. Tested EN 60335 & RoHS.
Frequently asked questions
What is the maximum temperature of a silicone flexible heater?
